HISTORY Established in 1915, our continuous activities are dedicated since then to the field of industrial and intellectual property, and at present our staff consists of about fifteen persons with a long experience. In addition to our central office in Madrid, our branch office in Alicante, where the Oficina de Armonización del Mercado Interior - OAMI - (Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market - IMHO) is located, enables us to attend directly before the OAMI all kinds of matters related to Community trade marks and designs. Our Industrial Property Agents are highly experienced in acting before the Office in Geneva in connection with international PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) applications, as well as regarding International trademarks according to the Madrid Agreement and its Protocol, and also before the European Patent Office for handling European patent applications under the Munich Agreement. Due to the large experience of our office at an international level we are able to offer you numerous correspondents for attending all kinds of matters related to the industrial and intellectual property in any country of the world. KEY PERSONNEL • Manuel de Arpe Fernández, born 13/04/1947, telecommunication engineer by the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid, Industrial Property Agent, member of the COAPIE and the EPI, European patent agent, agent registered at the OHIM. He manages the Patent Department of our office. • Santos de Arpe García, born 27/01/1943, forestry engineer by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Industrial Property Agent, member of the COAPIE and the EPI, European patent agent, agent registered at the OHIM. He manages our branch office in Alicante, where the OHIM is located. • Eva Mateos Muñoz, born 13/01/1968, attorney, master degree in law by the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. She is the head of our Trademark and Legal Affairs Department. • Manuel de Arpe Tejero, born 10/04/1977, Industrial Property Agent, master degree in law by the European University in Madrid. He coordinates the Trademark and Legal Affairs Department. • Herminia Tejero Tojo, born 20/06/1948, holder of a diploma in economics by the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. She is in charge of the Financial Department.
